Robert Romeo
Hello everyone,
My name is Robert Romeo and I am one of the Health and Physical Education teachers here at Memorial School. I will be teaching grades 5 to 8 and I look forward to a great school year. Besides teaching I coach wrestling at Mahwah High School and soccer at Paramus High School.
My teaching philosophy includes teaching my students how to live a healthy and active life style. I also believe that if we can keep children off gateway drugs, then the odds are much better that they’ll stay off hard drugs later on. And if we can keep them off drugs until they are 21, they are almost certain to be drug-free from then on. During my health class one key is to teach my students how to resist drugs in various situations. Another is to help my students realize for themselves why they shouldn’t use drugs.
My goal is to create a safe environment where students feel comfortable to explore and express themselves as individuals. During my class I expect students to behave, show good character, try their best, and follow directions at all times. Feel free to contact me at any time should you have any questions or concerns.
