During the month of October we have a lot to celebrate! We have the Week of Respect from 10/3-10/7. School Violence Awareness Weel from 10/17-10/21, and Red Ribbon Week from 10/24-10/28. We also have Picture Day and Halloween!
Some concepts that we have been working on are: sharing, respect, using our words, and working together. We encourage you to practice these concepts at home as well.
Our students have been doing an amazing job since the beginning of school, and we know that we will keep up the good work through the month of October as well! With our students working so hard to learn, it's only fair that the teachers keep on learning too! For this reason, I will be out on 10/27-10/28 to attend the Autism NJ Convention. I look forward to putting the strategies that I learn there to use in our classroom!
