• What is the CPIS?

The C.P.I.S. is the Community Parent Involvement Specialist for the Preschool program.  The Community Parent Involvement Specialist (CPIS) enhances and supports family involvement in our Preschool Program. Through various at-home activities, community resources, parent contact, support groups, and family activities, the CPIS strives to make each family's Preschool experience a positive and rewarding one.  The CPIS will also explore feedback from the community on how to improve the quality of the Preschool program here in Woodland Park!  Here are some of the functions of the CPIS:

    i. Coordination the early childhood advisory council.
ii. Evaluating the needs of families.
iii. Coordinating systematic parent involvement plans and activities.
iv. Coordinating work with other community agencies.
