Dear Parents/Guardians,
This year your child will be getting a homework/Take Home folder each Monday. Please check the folder each night! In the folder is the work that is to be completed every night, unless otherwise notified. The homework for the week will reinforce skills and concepts taught in class. Your child will also receive an Assignment Notebook. They will write their homework and weekly spelling words in it. Every night a Reading Log Entry is to be completed after reading for 15 or more minutes. The Reading Log is the Assignment Notebook. Please sign this for your child every night and write the amount of minutes. This will confirm that your child completed the reading assignment. Reading is also encouraged on Saturday and Sunday!
